Parcours des Mondes

  • Parcours des Mondes Paris, Île-de-France, 75006 France (map)

Each September, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, it brings together some fifty French and international galleries, selected for their expertise and the quality of the works they exhibit.

Around them gather all the players of the international ancient-art market: collectors, enthusiasts, professionals, curators and institutions, coming from all over the world to discover rare works and ancient civilizations.

For 25 years this unmissable event has drawn collectors, enthusiasts, amateurs and professionals from around the world. For one week, the 6th arrondissement turns into a remarkable open-air fair where visitors freely wander the galleries, times and civilisations, discovering centuries-old works and making Paris the capital of the arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas.

Rigorous object presentations, thematic exhibitions, book signings and encounters punctuate the event and, with each new edition, bring together an ever-growing public. A place of culture and of artistic and intellectual exchange, over the past twenty-five years Parcours des Mondes has never ceased to reflect the richness of the heritage, arts and ancient civilisations handed down by history.

Pursuing its mission of sharing and mutual understanding between cultures, since 2020 the event has opened a dialogue with contemporary creation, carried by new generations of artists from Africa, Oceania, Asia, the Americas and their diasporas.
