An interview with Shing Yiu Yip, Chairman of Min Chiu Society
Min Chiu Society was established in 1960 by a group of Chinese collectors from Shanghai and Hong Kong. A private group, the society showcases its collections in order to encourage appreciation for Chinese art. The ‘Honouring Tradition and Heritage’ exhibition held at the Hong Kong Museum of Art from 16 December 2020 to 28 April 2021 celebrates the society’s sixty years of history with over three hundred works. We spoke with the society’s chairman, Shing Yiu Yip, on this momentous occasion.
