The Museum of Indian Art in Berlin is reopening on 19 October following two years of renovation. The new installation has been designed to integrate into an appropriate architectural context one of the most important collections of Indian and Central Asian Art in the West. This month's articles discuss the new galleries and highlights of the collection. Ming Wilson's selection of export paintings depicting aspects of Chinese life and culture are included in an exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum. This is one of the numerous events marking 'Asia Art in London'; a schedule of exhibitions and auctions for AAL is featured in this issue, and lectures are listed in the calendar section.
