Cover. A Chinese blue and shite porcelain kendi or water vessel dating back to the 17th century is part of the collection of Chinese and Southeast Asian ceramics from the Singapore National Museum. The 129-year-old museum has more than 21,000 items of archaeological, ethnological and historical materials in its collections, along with an Art Gallery, a Young People’s Gallery and a Hall of Asiatic Prehistory.
