The 2024 Asian Art Biennial ”, organised by National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts ( NTMoFA), will take place between 16 November and 28 February 2025. Independent Taiwanese curator and critic Fang Yen Hsiang was invited to lead a curatorial team comprising Anne Davidian, of Armenia, who co curated the Armenian pavilion at the 2022 Venice Biennale; Filipino cu rator Merv Espina, who lives and works in Manila; Seoul based curator Haeju Kim, who is organizing the Singapore pavilion at this year’s Venice Biennale; and Asli Seven, who divides her time between Paris and Istanbul. The curators will develop the Biennial through collective discourse, to reconstruct the understanding of Asian art by breaking through racial, political and geographical boundaries.
